She helped design new warships while at Utopia Planitia and was most recently given the position of Chief Medical Officer about the USS Sentinel but has since requested a transfer. Alia has had a troubled life due to her abnormally strong telepathicskills and wear an inhibitor to regulate them so that she gan live a normal life. Starfleet Career Summary 2350: Born 2355: Telepathic powers developed early 2356: Enrolled in Southern Continent School for Powerful Telepaths 2366 Enrolled in Starfleet Academy and went into Starfleet Medical. 2372: Graduated from Starfleet Medical with Honours and assigned to Deeps Space Station 5 as Junior Medical Officer. 2374: Assigned to Utopia Planitia Shipyards as a designer. 2378: Assigned to the newly launched USS Sentinel as Chief Medical Officer. 2379: Requests a transfer and is assigned as Chief Medical Officer on the USS Odyssey. Physical Description: 5'5; Waist length blonde curly hair; black eyes. Character Description: Alia is friendly and open, a natural Doctor. She is attractive but painfully unlucky in love. She also carries a great sadness with her over the deaths of her Mother and Brother but hates to discuss either event, she also finds large gatherins very difficult at times due to her powerful telepathy. Character History: After studying at a special school on Betazed for 10 years to learn how to control her powerful abilities, Alia left home against her father's will to join Starfleet. She carved a successful career for herself as a medical officer and a design engineer and helped design many types of ships during her 4 years at Utopia Planitia. Whilest there, Alia met and fell is love with a man whom she believes was her Imzadi. He left Utopia abruptly however, breaking Alia's heart. She has never been in love since and even though it has now been 3 years since she saw him, he is still in her thoughts. Whilest on the USS Sentinel she fell for the android Data as he was travelling through but later discovered he was in fact Lore, and was bent on using the mysterious Guardian to change history. Her crewmates stopped him but Alia was ashamed that she had let herself be tricked and had almost let Lore change history as she wanted so badly to see her brother again that she felt she could no longer stay on the Sentinel. With a heavy heart she requested a transfer. |
