Physical Description: 5'9 with an average build. his complexion is lightly tanned. He has dark brown hair and eyes. his hair is always unkempt almost like he never combs it. his face is slightly triangular but his features are still very boyish. Character Description: Jeron can be found playing an ancient set of pan pipes he recieved from his parents in early childhood. He is very good at them. He always welcomes a game of chess. The "old kind" as he calls the origional incarnation of the game. Hes very fond of books of both history and historical fiction. Jeron can be found in the holodeck on occasion participating in some recreation of one historical earth event or another, or often brushing up on his smaller craft flying skills. He still has a love of cultural studies and takes every opportunity to participate, watch, or read up on them. Character History: Jeron was born and raised in Las Cruces New Mexico to a pair of archeologists. Through his whole life his eyes were turned either to the stars or buried in books of history and cultural studies. He didnt have much interest in many other things and for the most part didnt excell well in any other fields. He applied to Starfleet Academy in the hopes of a career studying the history and culture of the myrad of races scattered across the galaxy. Through the course of his tour of the Academy his scores in the sciences proved to be less than adequit in all fields besides human history and cultural studies. Needless to say his hopes of a scientific career were dashed. Luckily for him he proved to have an abundance of natural piloting skills. The Academy steered him away from his plans as a culturalist and towards a career of flying starships. His new studies quickly grew on him and he quickly began to excell. He graduated one of the best pilots Starfleet has seen and boarded the USS Aurora as his first assignment as her helmsman. Jeron enjoyed his first assignment but was quik to accept the promotion to chief flight control officer of the USS Odyssey B when it was offered him six months later. |
