The Starfleet Academy Training Guide: The Academy is not a required "course" one has to take to play on the USS Odyssey. It is merely a guide book through which one can learn to write better in the sim. While there are not courses for every department, most of the courses have invaluable information for everyone who plays in an RPG. RECOMMENDED READING These books are not REQUIRED, but are HIGHLY recommended. They will help you not only with OPS/HELM but with Star Trek role-playing in general.
