Profile: Report of Starfleet Command Review Board

Morrison is a very talented young officer and an excellent pilot. He has a promising sense of tactics, if somewhat reckless, as proved during a hostile encounter with Dominion forces in 2378.

Starfleet Career Summary:
2376: A month after his graduation William was assigned as Liutenant Junior Grade aboard Yeager class USS Discovery, NCC-75524, where he was assigned to Navigation and Helm duty. During this time he was promoted to Lt 1st class. The Discovery's missions mostly consisted of Patrol duty.

2377: After approximately a year aboard Discovery, William was transfered to Akira-class USS Thunderchild, NCC-63549. Thunderchild's prime duty was to patrol federation border toward Dominion and Borg space

2378: In late September, the USS Thunderchild stumbles upon a gathering of Rogue Dominion warships in Federation territory. Captain Benjamin Sykes gives the order to avoid conflict and withdraw, but 3 of the Dominion ships engages a pursuit. The Thunderchilds warpdrive is damaged, and several crew members died or recieved severe injuries, the Captain and Chief of Security counted among the injured. Lt Morrison took command and ordered a daring all-out counterattack, which took the Dominion completely by surprise. Two of the Dominion ships were subsequently destroyed, the third ship surrendered after sustaining heavy damage. When Thunderchild returned to starbase, Morrison was courtmarshalled for endangering the ship and crew, but was freed of all charges as the court found his actions most likely saved the Thunderchild and might even have prevented a 2nd Dominion war. Captain Sykes promoted Morrison to 2nd Officer of the thunderchild as he felt that, though technically not being ready for it, he would rise to the call if given a chance.

2379: Transfered to USS Odyssey and assigned as Chief of Security.

Physical Description: Morrison stand 6'1" tall and weights app. 164 lbs. He's got light-brown hair and brown eyes. He is well trained and has a lean, agile body.

Character Description: He is usually very correct in his dealing with superior officers. He is somewhat shy, wich sometimes gives an impression of him being very disciplined and somewhat rigid in his manners. He can at times be insolent towards comrades without realizing that he is, and might be hurting their feelings. He is an outstanding martial artist and a highly skilled marksman. He has an agile mind, but unfortunately he is also quiet unpredictable in his actions and is often making unnecessary risky decisions.

Character History: William Thomas Morrison is the only child to Professor Jonathan Morrison and french born Dr Sabine Monsuarét (Monsoaar). During his childhood, William was very fascinated by his fathers work, wich largely was about space-exploration. For a brief period of time, Jonathans work took him to Deep Space 9 and William was allowed to go with him there. At DS9 William had his first contact with starfleet. Completely fascinated by the stories told by a young liutenant named Sykes about the federation fleet's various encounters, William began dreaming of a Star Fleet career. His parents on the other hand had dreams of him following their path as scientist, did not approve of Williams wishes. He was sent to a Scientific school, but even though he managed to get good grades, he managed to make his parents see it wasn't the best course for him. William leaves the scientific program and is accepted into Star Fleet Academy.
