Personal History

 

 Catrin was born in Llantrisant in Wales, living there with her parents
and two sisters until she was old enough to attend Starfleet. She achieved top grades in her training in security and tactical, going on to further her
training on DS12. While serving on the station she saved the life of the
commanding officer, receiving almost fatal injuries in the process. After her
recovery, she was presented with a medal for valor and another for bravery.
The incident however left two permanent scars on her back and another on her right arm. A few months after the incident she joined the USS Rhiannon who had been docked with the station and became their Chief of Security. She met and fell in love with Jacob Forrester, the CMO. They were married but four months later he was killed in an accident while aboard an unknown planet. This left Catrin distraught she was asked to take leave after concerns about her mental health. She moved back to live in Wales with her parents for a year and discovered she was pregnant with Jacob’s child. A daughter, Anna, was born and although Catrin loves her more then anything, when Starfleet cleared her for duty, Catrin felt it would be safer to leave Anna behind. Anna is cared for by Catrin’s older sister. The Portugal is her first post again for almost two years. 

She can get angry easily but is a friendly person generally. She is very
strong, physically and mentally, and doesn’t let much phase her. Is trustworthy and honest, she will not say something she doesn’t believe.

 Psychological Profile: Catrin is very strong mentally, she takes most things onboard without question.  Dealing with tense situations and working under pressure are her specialties.  She is cool and controlled under pressure and makes an excellent team member in hostile situations.  Catrin will not lose her head and will remain loyal to the last.
