  Katlyn was born on Romulus, after her parents where taken to a Prisoner of war camp, after the Khitomer incident. She eventrually escaped, and made her way to earth, where she raised herself, and worked fulltime at a Bar.

Her Teacher in drink mixing, and bartending, was an El-Aurian, who owned a bar called the Four Corners of Galaxy.
