  Peter and Lydia where born in Space on the USS Dyonis, to Feuran and Linda Ferris.

They where delivered by the Dyonis' CMO, Dr. Tsing Sato.

Peter and Lydia Ferris are known Empaths, thanks to the El-Aurian Heritage, but are also Telepathic towards each other to a certain extent.
