"A Glance Into Glanzman" was a special two page feature appearing in Our Army At War #284. It feaures several pages of Glanzman's rough drafts for the USS Stevens and a half page article by assistant editor Allan Asherman. The pages are complete thumbnail versions of the final stories, which according to the article Glanzman would write, draw and color for Joe Kubert before doing the final story based on them. The article also outlines Glanzman's own military experience and how it influenced his personality and work.
This is an interesting feature which any fan of Glanzman's work would do well to check out. The issue also features a Kanigher/Wildey Sgt. Rock story and Medal of Honor by Norman Maurer, all under a Joe Kubert cover.
