1st Directive
Prevention of timeline interruptions The crew of a starship has to maintain the integrity of the current timeline under all circumstances.
2nd Directive Protection of the future
The crew of a starship has to take all necesarry opportunities to protect the current timeline from threats which might be caused by temporal anomalies or paradoxical interruptions from other periods..
3rd Directive Restoration of an interrupted or changed timeline
If the timeline has already been interrupted the crew of a starship has to take all necesarry opportunities to correct and repair the caused damage. Furthermore the crew is authorized to use an appropriate scope of action to accomplish any mission objective.
4th Directive Recruitment of lifeforms from different periods
To fulfil repair procedures of Directive 3 to the fullest extend it might be necesarry to recruit lifeforms from a different period.The crew of a starship is authorized to do so in case no new anomalies are created or might be repaired adequatly afterwards,
5th Directive Elimination of non-calculatable risks
If it is sure that an anomaly can only be made undone by eliminating a component from the past the crew of a timeship is authorized to to use an appropriate scope of action to do so. In that case any contact to lifeforms from this period or unnecesarry delays are not allowed.
6th Directive Emergency procedures
In case of an emergency which caused that a crewmember is stranded in a period different from his or her own this crewmember has to follow procedure until a search and rescue operation is possible. That means limitation of any contact to other lifeforms, to adapt to the cultural and social distinctiveness of this period and to find a possibility to escape. Furthermore the crewmember has to carry any portable technological equipment which might be of use with him or her while any remaining equipment has to be destroyed. |
