| 04-003 22 March 2004 MEMORANDUM FOR SEE DISTRIBUTION SUBJECT: Promotion Freeze Due to current staffing levels, promotions above the rank of Lieutenant Colonel will be temporarily frozen. The only exception to this poilcy will be promotions to the rank of Brigadier General. There are currently four open positions at this rank, of which two will be filled. A promotion board will be convened shortly to determine which members will be promoted. Results will be posted on the PERSCOM web page as soon as they are available. It is strongly suggested that all Captains and Majors ensure that their promotion points are up to date. Promotions to Lieutenant Colonel and Major will be coming soon.
