| Why do you love the USWNT? |
I've loved the USWNT since before they won the first WWC! Now that I'm showing my age. When I seen them play on TV for the first time...I was just in awe on how the played the best soccer I've ever seen. At the time I was 15yrs old and watching Mia, Jules, Lil and Tisha was just awesome cause they weren't that much older than me...this of course made me play harder thinking one day I'll be able to play with them. They just been one of my biggest inspirations in sports...watching Akers comeback time and time again from countless knee surgerie made it that much easier for me to comeback from my knee injury. To Jules' commercial for Reebok...Ya'll know the one about being a tomboy! Mia's selfless commitment to the team and her causes and Lil's workhorse attitude to Vench's team spirit even when she lost her starting spot on the roster. All reasons why I love the USWNT. I'm sure most of our reasons are all the same |

I love the USWNT because the are me inspiration. I especially love Foudy, she has really pushed me to be my best on and off the field, I have a huge shrine of her in my room and I put pictures of her all over my books especially biology because that makes no sense to me and she has a degree in it so she really pushes me to do well |
