OTY is done! Thanks for all those who participated. :)
What can I say? No words can do these player justice. I would just like to thank Vench, TR, Tracy, Sask and Fotop for everything they have done for the team, and how much us fans will miss ya guys! (Click here, for more info about these players.) If we could have it our way, you'll be in Residency Camp, but we can't do anything about that.
BUT...
I am proposing the first USWNTGA mission: Operation Thank You. (OTY) OTY will be a simple way us fans can get together and thank these players for all they have done. I have a connection in which I can get letters/messages/gifts to Tisha, and Yvonne will do the same for Tracy. If anyone of you have a connection to TR, Fotop, or Sask, please let me know. But until then, you can just send me your messages to them. If you want, you can email me directly, and I'll be happy to give you my address, so that you can send me something you want to give to Tish (or any of the other players) personally. If not, just send me your message via email, and I will print them out nicely, and put something together. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!!
I'll be collecting messages until Friday, April 21st, so PLEASE make sure you send it to me by then. After that day, I'll be sending it off to Tisha. I think this is the best way you can show your support for the players, and let them know we'll be thinking and missing them. I'm sure they'll be very happy to receive something, so please make an effort to write down a message, send/email it to me, and contribute to OTY.
• Messages must be positive, and nothing offensive/rude will be allowed.
• Try to make it personal, and say exactly what you want to say.
• Gifts/artwork/other items are welcomed, as long as they are not too big.
