SakuraCon Day 1

I am very grateful to all the cosplayers who graciously let us photograph them. They all looked great and I wish I could have bothered more people and taken even more pictures.
I cannot recognize any of the costumes. In a few cases I was able to ask what the costumes were. I did not always understand the explanation...

The Tokyopop stand.

Meanwhile it was snowing outside. That kind of weather put some of those costumes in perspective.

SakuraCon Day 2

I asked her what anime the costume and the sign referenced but I did not understand the explanation. I noticed that other people around me understood what it was about.

Those next few guys had great costumes and looked a little blaze from all the people wanting their pictures two days in a row. That's why I often hesitated before bothering cosplayers and I tried to be very polite using broken japanese.

A lot of engineering went into this costume, but it paid off big.

The "big boss" is wearing his convention badge on his back.

At this point people started a chain, singing and dancing.

Some younger cosplayers formed hugging circles like this one.

He looked like he got an important message on his blackberry just as I was taking his picture.

People insisting I wear inappropriate headdress for pictures. This situation occurred in Akihabara as well. I'm getting used to it.

ZELDA! The holy grail of console gaming, literally.

I am wearing a very silly grin because this is way better than finishing Zelda.

Still grinning like a perv. I can't help it. It's Zelda!

Very nice costume. I thought he might be Louie the Rune Soldier, but he is actually a character from Slayers.
