| Heroes In these uncertain times there are many heroes such as the FDNY and the NYPD and it would be nice to honor them with an article (especially after that scuffle they had a little while ago, right?), but I think there are much better examples of heroes, SUPER HEROES! That’s right what are the FDNY and the NYPD compared to say, The Super Friends (excluding those annoying kids and that dumb dog of course). Superman has always been a hero I thought deserves a tribute and here’s why. First of all he can cope with catastrophe, I mean his home planet was destroyed and it doesn’t even bother him. He also died somewhere in his extensive comic book series and came back to life. Now that’s what I call coping with catastrophe. Second he’s got a really nifty base, The Fortress of Solitude. Anyone would love to have such a sweet looking base at the North Pole (right near Santa). Lastly good old SM has the ability to fly. Yes, many other heroes have the ability to fly (like that loser Birdman) but none flew with so much style. That exquisite red cape and underpants with blue pants and shirt and that really keen emblem totally made him stand out from all the other flying heroes. I hope ol’ Sup appreciates this tribute. The greatest hot chick super hero, Wonder Women, deserves a tribute as much as (if not more than) Superman. She definitely deserves a tribute for her outfit. Her suit was just amazing and so patriotic (and made here look really hot). Reason number two would have to be her lasso. I don’t think there really needs to be an explanation for this other than it was magical (heh heh, magic rope, yeah). Ultimately she had an invisible jet. How cool is that?! She had her own jet AND it was invisible! I really hope Wonder Woman appreciates this, enough to give something in return (if you get my drift). A third super hero? Yes! Who is it? None other than the great Gino! There really doesn’t need to be any reasons for this hero to be celebrated, but here goes anyway. He worked well as a team to run for class president. This campaign was really meritorious and almost got him the win. Next he is pretty cunning. He never studies and gets remarkably high marks on tests and quizzes and the like. He’s lazy and smart! What a combo! And I’m sure he’ll love this exceptional tribute to his prowess. All these heroes are amazing examples of outstanding role models for the kiddies. These are people the youngsters should strive to be like and if they become only a fraction of what these phenomenal individuals are the world would be that much better. PS. I am sincerely sorry for writing that self-indulgent tripe but can you blame me. You guys would do the exact same thing if you could. PPS. The NYPD and the FDNY are real heroes and should have more articles written about them. Note: The PPS is not actually what I think. In fact, I think they should get no recognition whatsoever, the bastards, they were either doing their job or succumbing to social pressures. Nothing should be written about them. |
