Inane Ramblings

“What is this?” you may be asking yourself. It’s exactly what the title says and if you don’t know
what ‘inane’ or ‘ramblings’ mean that’s just too bad because I don’t really feel like defining them. Anyway,
I’d like to address something about this site, well actually about its patrons. The counter says 140
something, people, and that’s means I should have a hell of a lot more signatures in the guest book. Why
don’t you people just sign it? It just takes a few seconds. And also, I’ve recently heard some ludicrous
comments about my page sucking and that it didn’t have a cool pic like the Matt Holm speech page. The
person who said this is probably quite mad and an idiot (you know who you are, Mr. Chris M.) and if you
see him tell him to go to hell or make some disparaging remark directed toward him (to his face of course).
Now starts the content. First off I’ll rant about Berrardi. What a half-witted teacher. She’s called
my house four times this year telling my parents I don’t do my homework (yeah, she retracted the no
homework thing). Recently, she’s been asking my parents if I could stay after school and, of course, my
parents say I will (which I won’t). I think she’s so persistent about trying to get me to do my homework
because she has a need to exercise authority over someone. This need probably spawns from a an
inferiority complex, meaning she feels inferior to her peers, or, most likely, the realization that she is the
worst teacher in the school. One of these two cases must be true because I see no other reason for a teacher
to give a damn if a student who does quite well doesn’t do any homework. She will not succeed in
exercising authority over me.
The world’s going to end and we’re well on our way to making robo-pocalypse (a phrase I’m
coining right now meaning an apocalypse by robots (you better not steal it)). What I mean is that Honda is
making this new robot named
ASIMO. They say that “ASIMO walks forward and backward, turns
corners, and amazingly, goes up and down stairs with ease. All with a remarkable sense of strength and
balance.” Well, it certainly has AIEBO beaten. Some other features of this end of humanity are
“unprecedented human-like abilities” that have been honed after 15 years of research and development.  It
can also “recognize faces, carry loads and even push wheeled objects.” If that doesn’t have the potential of
being the beginning of the end, I don’t know what does.
The Catholic Church, the most successful cult-like entity in the world. An interesting fact is that
these oh so distinguished masters of morality are under scrutiny because their disciplinary action toward
sexual offenders within their churches. In the archdiocese of Boston it has been revealed that children have
accused more than 70 of about 700 priests of sexual abuse, which is more than ten percent. The hypocritical
hierarchy of the church has silenced stories of pedophile priests by paying damages secretly and relocating
offenders to other parishes, where they are free to commit these crimes again. For the church to allow this
is a contradiction to its preaching of prohibitions on consensual adult sex. Cardinal Law apologized for
these inconceivable injustices saying children had been unintentionally endangered. What the hell? How
can these judges of humanity make such an obvious mistake? To deprive a child of their innocence in that
way an then proceed to cover it up is an unforgivable mistake. And what the hell are homosexuals and
confused guys doing in the business anyway? As a gay priest one would have to preach against their life
choice, which would wear on one’s sanity. Those that are uncertain about being priests are constantly
pressured by the celibacy they have imposed upon themselves, leading to sexual deviance. These horrible
crimes should not go unpunished and all officials that allowed it to transpire should be imprisoned or
harshly disciplined in some way (Martin Luther got excommunicated for less than that).
Those are all the topics for today. Please sign the guest book before you leave and as the great Apu
once said, “Thank you, come again.”
