This Place Sucks

      This place sucks. Most people here will probably end up in hell (including myself), if it exists;
otherwise they’ll have a pleasant time in the joyous state of eternal nothingness. The populace is suppressed
by hypocritical authority figures, be they school faculty, police, the government or even the pope.
Inhabitants of this dreary land must succumb to the system or be shunned by those who conform. I don’t
understand it, but I’ll try to explain why this place sucks.
Gates Chili High School is the shittiest place I know. I’ve wasted about three and a half years
there so far and have little to show for it. In the past years I’ve taken only a handful (less actually) of
classes that had any depth. Calc, Stats, Bio, Chem, and US History are those courses. All the others have
left me with such a miniscule amount of knowledge that it’s quite laughable. Hell, in AP Physics I feel like
I’m stupider for just being there. Why are students forced to take Eco and PIG? They don’t teach anything
new. Art? I highly doubt that most people will need that. And Physical Education is by far the least
necessary (except for the fat kids). Who needs to run around and play games for forty minutes every other
day anyway? This obscene waste of time could be used for something more constructive or at least an earlier
dismissal time.
Oh yeah, people in Gates suck too. Why the hell do people give a damn about whether I try or not
in gym? These idiots take these pointless games excessively seriously. Who cares whether you win or lose?
You’re not getting anything for it. And don’t try to pull that “spirit of competition” crap ‘cause if you don’t
receive some sort of prize there’s no reason to compete. Guys that think they’re funny and aren’t must
pensively ponder why they have to act like buffoons all the time. Then there are those guys that go felling
up women and get away with it (and most of these guys are pieces of shit). If I were to try something like
that I’d get slapped with a sexual harassment lawsuit at the least. Why some girl would allow some pervert
to feel her up is beyond my comprehension. Also beyond my comprehension is the fact that most females
ignore me (so what if I’m quiet), but it’s not just that, see, I could understand the hot ones but even most of
the less attractive ones (and downright ugly ones) ignore me too. It’s like I’m not even there. Why?
Anyway, I wish I could fulfill my carnal desires such as some others have done. I mean, how can these
others fulfill their desires and not me? And the guys that do are assholes too (you see, I’m rather nice). I’m
not that ugly am I? Well, am I?! As you can see by the aforementioned statements, being trapped
somewhere with most of the people from this place would be a fate worse than death (and I’m talking about
one of those painful deaths), except if those people were women and an orgy was involved.
All people are influenced by many factors (that sentence sucked). Legions of people dress the
same (or at least very similarly) everyday. That could easily be explained if we lived under socioeconomic
systems like fascism or communism but alas, we don’t. There’s no Gestapo making sure you wear the
proper attire. So why do all these people dress alike? They are drones, neither having (true) free will or
original ideas. Dressing like everyone helps these fools feel accepted. It’s a misconception, having to dress
like others to fit in, that many have.
Then comes the suppression by the denizens of this place. It’s uncanny how so many in the
hierarchy of hypocrisy must exorcise their authority over their “subordinates” (it’s in quotes because
students do have to answer to teachers but for some reasons the teachers feel that they are the student’s
boss, which is not the case (Berrardi refers to herself as the boss, something she’s not fit to be)). Calling a
student’s house once for not doing homework is fine, but calling three times isn’t neither is asking the kid’s
parents if the kid could stay after school to make it up. What an abuse of power and then the teacher
doesn’t grade homework that’s supposed to be or doesn’t meet a deadline, after she makes such a big deal
about doing homework and being responsible, is a bit hypocritical, isn’t it? The insanity runs deep and the
lines become obscured but I’m certain that hypocrisy goes all the way up (therefore the hierarchy). For
these “honchos” (bosses) to say not to break rules is immoral because they probably break’em everyday
(maybe). It’s almost certain that those who make the rules disregard those very rules when it’s convenient.
All those reasons and more are why this place sucks. And, I’d write more but I’m tired of this. This
place is gonna make me turn to alcoholism for comfort (suicide is for babies).
