'5-1 Defence'

5-1 Defence is sometimes played because the backs are strong shooters or so that F can intercept the ball.

The first defender (1D) takes LW. 2D is ready to help if needed.

2D takes LB. 1 and F (front) defenders are ready to help if needed.

F takes C. 2 and 3 defenders are ready to help if needed.

2D takes LB. 1 and F defenders are ready to help if needed.

1D takes LW. 2D is ready to help if needed.
