'PIVOT - BACK COMBINATIONS'

There are various Pivot - Back combinations. Below are three versions.

Pivot stands next to the defender.

B does a dummy (left then right). P blocks defender 1 as B moves right.

B draws defender 1 away from the P. P stands side-on to defender 2.

B does a dummy (left then right). P blocks defender 1 as B moves right.

B does a jump shot and shoots because defender 2 remained on the 6m line.

B jumps like a jump shot but passes to P because defender 2 moved out to defend the shot.

B passes to P who is moving into the gap away from defender 2.

B shoots.

P moves towards the goal to catch and shoot the ball.

P shoots.

P shoots.
