Adult Religious Education
The Religious Education program welcomes you to a new year of spiritual growth and discovery. Whether you are new to the liberal religious concept or follow a self-described individual approach, you will find a sense of belonging, within our humanitarian based congregation. If you've begun questioning your learned faith, join us and together we'll explore these questions.
We'll begin with an orientation packet which describes the All Souls Church local history. Then we'll view the DVD "Our American Roots: Unitarian-Universalism in North America". You'll learn how this free liberal approach to religious understanding, played an important role, guiding our country's founding leaders.
Next, we'll read and discuss "A Chosen Faith" by John A. Buehren and Forrest Church. This program will allow an honest review of both your learned and current faith belief practices and understanding. These small group encounters allow an opportunity for each participant to openly discuss and share their unique and individual faith journey.
Contact Cheryl at Csqui55@aol.com to discuss your interest in our next meeting.
If you have special needs requiring pastoral support or care, please contact our contract minister Rev. Laurie Bushbaum at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Besides these activities, social interaction is offered through several other venues as noted below. JOIN US!!
Circle DiscussionEvery Sunday, following our service, we offer a Circle Discussion. This is a chance for the congregation to sit with the presenter and learn more about that Sunday's service, in a friendly, encouraging, open environment. It goes from 11 to noon. Anyone is welcome to attend.
