At the Church-in-the-Woods:   Other community groups use our facility during the week.  The UU Church of Valdosta is located at 1951 E. Park Avenue (on Lakeland Highway, or Hwy. 221, next to J.L. Newbern Middle School), Valdosta, GA.

PFLAG

A new chapter of PFLAG (Parents, Familes and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) has formed in Valdosta.  PFLAG meets every 4th Tuesday at 7:00 pm at the UU Church.   Remember, bring a friend of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community!

Tai Chi – Monday and Thursday evenings, and Saturday mornings.  Beginner classes start near the first of each semester.   The group will meet on Monday and Thursday evenings at the church at 6:00 PM.   Beginner’s Group taught by Eric Nielsen Saturday, 10-12 AM.  Contact Dennis Bogyo or Betty Derrick, or check the UU Valdosta newsletters for announcements.   The Taoist Tai Chi website:  http://www.taoist.org/
