On Sunday, November 29, we decided to take a trip to the zoo. We went with our Dad and our special guest, Zachary, our brother.

First we saw two lemurs. Zachary seemed to be interested in watching them as they jumped around.

This is a wood stork that we saw next to a pond. He was standing with many ibis.

Zachary wasn't so impressed with this huge python!

At the petting zoo, they received a new friend that you see in this picture!

This is a bald eagle, the symbol of our country. We love him so!

We finally got Zachary close enough to the fence for him to pet the goats and donkey.

Shawn took this picture of a llama.

Prairie dogs make squeaky noises. Zachary tried to imitate them. SQUAWK!

Up here were the real tortoises...

... and down here were the fake and smelly ones!

And last of all, these were the flamingoes!
