| UW ESA Minutes January 21, 2003 12:30-1:20 Taken by Marc Ducusin The Little Meeting That Could The ESA and the Virginia Woolf class share the room. -Marc (yes, he who dared to misspell “Duckworth”) has assumed responsibility for the creation and printing of the photo membership cards; Hilary & Conrad’s Snow Ball pics will be used for their photo ID; NOTE: This is the last week for pictures -Eireann: should we buy the microwave soon? -start approaching profs and others to read; distribute info sheets -Kristian will ask Dennis Cooley; Hilary will approach Kathleen Venema & Margaret Sweatman; Eireann will ask Neil Besner; Erica has been assigned to see Mark Morton -Readings: Hilary – excerpt from an Atwood short story Marc – chapter from The Joy Luck Club Eireann – one of Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes Group – scene from Act III of The Importance of Being Earnest (Marc as Algernon, rest of the roles to be cast); Eireann will edit the scene -Friday, Feb. 14th (Valentine’s Day) is the only theme day set so far; others will be designated to accommodate profs and any celeb readers |
