Taken by Marc Ducusin

Out of Consideration for the Secretary’s Busy Schedule and Waning Creativity, These Minutes Have Kindly Consented to Remaining Untitled

The summary has made the same courteous gesture. Both it and the title will likely return after the Winter Break. They thank you for your patience.

-Eireann: Snow Ball advertising - green posters/info sheets distributed in profs’ mailboxes [addendum: Keith Fulton passed around the sheet at today’s Gay & Lesbian Lit class; go, Keith!]

-Everyone is kindly reminded to attend the Snow Ball; the time and location are as follows:

Friday, December 20th, 2002

7:00 – 11:00 p.m.

UofW Faculty Club

Costumes are optional but highly encouraged.

Admission is free, but all donations are gratefully accepted.

-Kristian appears, as if beckoned by Marc and Jamie’s mention of him. [Note: It felt rather strange typing that, as my sister’s name is also Jamie.]

-Upcoming events: January’s "Fight the Winter Blahs" – On Jan. 15th (2 days after Eireann’s birthday), we will be peddling popcorn & coke outside Riddell to raise funds for the E.S.A. Charity begins at home, indeed. [Another pointless note: The secretary’s original handwritten minutes actually read "selling popcorn & children" (emphasis added). Much embarrassed by this glaring error, the secretary acknowledges that he is in serious need of rest. In the meantime, however, he is blaming the mishap on his and Eireann’s off-topic mention of Oliver Twist.]

-Duckworth has been booked for Literary Week

-We still have to draw for the 2 unclaimed book baskets.

-Erica rants about her terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

-Eireann reminds us that she is selling lollipops for Frontier College.

-Erina and others leave to infiltrate the French Students’ party, promising to return with gifts of brie and camembert for the masses.
