E.S.A. Minutes for November 7, 2001


5:20    Shannah-Lee pleased by the effort and interest in the book and bake sale so far.
5:21    Discussion of the literary merits of "One on One", Kristjain suggests title of
            "Two on Two" as chat book title.  Discussion of "One on One" as literature
            possibly for Literary Week?  (For Conrad's Nurse Novel Day!) NOTE: Costumes
            manditory.
5:25    Erin Stated that she was just generally happy, and Sophie calculated that we had
            raised (at this time) $189.60 from Book and Bake Sale.
5:27    Group dissolves into discussion of Fire by the Bay earlier that day.
5:28    Order is regained:  Attempt to establish who donated books for sale, and
            Shanna-Lee raises idea of sending out thank you notes or cards.  Group agrees,
            and decides to act on it at a later date.
5:29    Speaking Crow:  Kristjain gave review, stating that it was great with Blues
            Musicians; and many others, it was fabulous.  It is very incouraging and overall
            great.  Question raised of How can we utilize or work with this experience?
5:30    Erin and Erica talk about the inquires they made into using the 2nd Floor of the
            Duckworth Center for the lunch hour Literary Week readings. Discussion of how
            likely it is for other spaces to be available.  Duckworth is decided upon.
            Erin and Erica volunteer to book Duckworth for next week.
5:35    Discussion of possible readers for Literary Week.
            What are the time constrants, how long should we ask them to read for?  10 - 15
            minutes.  What about on Friday evening? 2M70 for February 1st 2001, in the
            evening?
            Advertising?  Prarie Fire?  Free Press?  U of W radio?  Anything else?
5:50    Looking at Bank Stuff, we need to open a new account, and get the past record of
            E.S.A accounts, we need to see James or something?
