                this.
-In terms of ESA members attending staff meetings Shannah-Lee talked
with Keith Fulton and we can only have one person attend each meeting, but we
are allowed to have different people attend, but we must notify the faculty so
they know who is suppose to attend.

booth for a high school parent/student information evening in the Duckworth

-Decision to only have 2 or 3 different baked goods per day.
-What else could we do to increase awareness for bake sale.  (Stripping was
suggested by Conrad (who also volunteered) as well as the slogan
                "Books, Babes, and Baked Goods")
5:55 pm  -Declaration that until we get bank account sorted out, we have NO funds, and
we should start a new account and make sure that it gets signed over before
the end of the term, so there is not the problems that we have to deal with this
                year.
5:59 pm    -Literary week, we should have a Pulp Fiction Day, Children's Day,
                Horror Day
We are aiming for a January date.
We still want to book Convocation Hall (in Wesley) but how do we go about
doing that?  Conrad volunteered to look into it.
6:00 pm    -Next meeting would be on Halloween, but no one wants to be here on
Halloween, so when can we hold a meeting next week (because we really
need to) Thursday November 1st at 4:30 is suggested as well as the
suggestion that everybody chip in so we could order some food (possibly
                pizza).
6:10 pm    -Adult Field trip, November 6th to the Academy Coffee Shop "Speaking
Crow" for more information contact Kristian.
6:15 pm    -Juice/Literary supplement, it should co-incide with literary week.  Question

                Literacy Awareness our contribution.
-The pro's and con's of supplement or a chat book
-Supplement is more open to people, but it could also wind up as more of a
                throw away, not read section.
-Chat book only people who want it will get one, but then we are still hitting
the same audience, and people who aren't in English are not reading it.
-Sara bring up idea of having a sample version and then seeing how it
                was received by non-ESA members.
-Question of writers and the ESA's role in the selection process.
-Erin brings up idea of committee, large group who would look at the poetry,
but we don't have enough time/ resources to edit all the work.
-Conrad thinks of FABULOUS title for Chat book/Supplement
"Common Room II"  It is unanimously the favorite.
6:31 pm    Erica is amazing, and general anarchy ensues for about a minute.
6:32 pm     Round Table; -Generally pleasure at progression of activities.
People who have committed to bringing baked good are:
Sophie (welcome back), Shannah-Lee, Erin, Erica, and possible Conrad and
Sara depending on how the next few weeks play out.
Conrad suggests slogan "food for body and soul" for Book and Bake Sale.
(Lot's of excellent titles thought of by Conrad as well as an extremely
                   amusing scarf as hat display)
