Ring Music? “Turns to Ashes” by 36 Crazyfists

Signature Move? John Doe

Signature Move Description: a) He takes his opponent from a fallen position, lifting them by their knees, as though to place them in an elevated Boston Crab; b) performs a double leg takedown: then hauls them up so that they rest on their shoulders and punches down through their legs, aiming for their face, “accidentally” dropping forearms to their groin. When sufficiently softened up, he locks his hands under their knees and lifts until only their head is on the mat, then steps over their arms, locking them behind his own knees, and drops into a modified Tombstone Piledriver.

Secondary Signature Move? Keelhaul

Secondary Signature Move Description: Ashe performs a double leg takedown and rotates his opponent into an elevated boston crab (Liontamer) position. He wrenches it shortly, then drops violently backwards, dragging his opponent’s upper torso across the mat, stretching their spine backwards until they finally give way and snap over in a faceplant motion.

Special Signature Move? Flaming Chairshot

Special Move Description: Ashe always seems to have a specially prepared chair at hand, often stashed under the ring, sometimes a little closer, and a lighter. When he’s ready to put an opponent under, he uses the lighter and ignites the cloth-wrapped, gasoline-soaked chair and mashes the flaming beast over his opponent’s skull.

Appearance Description: Ashe is a young man, mid-20’s, of Asian descent. He stands at a fairly average height for a professional wrestler, but with a lighter build. Though lacking in mass, his form is perfectly formed, and what he lacks in power he compensates for in speed and technical skill. His dark eyes glimmer with something that is either good humor or untempered sadism. His hair is naturally black, but he has recently taken to dying it orange with red and yellow highlights, creating an impression of fire. Outside of the ring, he can often be found wearing finely tailored suits, but often of odd color schemes – his favorite being an olive green suit with a purple shirt and black tie. In the ring, his attire is black wrestling tights and calf-high boots that have been wrapped in leather straps with predominant metal buckles. His arms are both wrapped in leather straps with numerous buckles up and down their lengths, ending at his shoulders, and a thicker strap around his neck. The straps around his arms and legs have had flames airbrushed onto their sides, creating a far more colorful image than he once wore. At the base of his neck, he has a pair of Kanji tattooed, for those who read Japanese they symbolize “Akuma,” (Devil, Demon, or Satan, whichever you prefer). At the base of his spine is another tattoo, this of a wolf bent into a circle, chewing its own leg off.

Background: Having enjoyed some highs and lows, Ashe is now a permanent fixture of the UWA. Well known as a tyrant in the Extreme Division, demanding a level of respect for his title that often demands very stringent standards for who gets a title shot – in other words, he only defends when he has to, which has earned him the ire of more than a few of his fellow competitors. As a pupil of the infamous Skool Tiez gym, handpicked and carefully trained by both Newbreed and Gretchen, further tempered by the Japanese hardcore experience, Ashe brings an element of unpredictability to his matches that many of his foes are unprepared for.

Move Descriptions:

Left For Dead – Standing behind his opponent, back to back, Ashe reaches back and locks his hands under his opponent’s chin, then throws his body downwards simultaneously sweeping their legs out from under them, and pulling their head down, landing in an extremely modified neckbreaker or DDT, kind of both.

Sidewinder DDT – Ashe arm-wrenches his opponent into a hammer lock, but steps past them, reaching down and securing their head in a DDT position, while maintaining the hammerlock on his opponent, then wraps his inside leg around his opponents, and drops to a DDT.

Senton Bomb – the classic aerial assault

Double Underhook Piledriver – Ashe sets his opponent up for a Pedigree, but lifts them vertically, and drops into a sit-down piledriver.

Turnbuckle Curb Stomp – Ashe places his opponent’s head on the bottom turnbuckle, face down, then grips the top ropes, springboards up off the middle ropes and lands a double foot stomp in the center of his opponent’s back.

Corkscrew Body Press – Luchador gold, a jump, a few rotations, and finally a splash.

Dirty Vacancy Driver – Ashe goes for a DVD, but has trouble lifting his opponent, resulting in a “completely accidental” low blow, on the second try, he manages to get them up into a fireman’s carry, and then tilts over, landing his opponent on their neck and shoulders.

Sleeper Bomb – Ashe gets his opponent in a sleeper hold, wrenching their certainly already injured neck for a bit, then ending it by lifting them up into the air, and driving them down.

Shining Wizard Kick – 1) Ashe charges his opponent, stepping on their leg, and sweeping his foot behind, kicking them in the back of the head. 2) Ashe grabs them by the head, steps up onto one of their legs, and kicks around and behind as he lets go of their head, again hitting that neck region.

Springboard Clothesline – Ashe jumps up onto the ropes and springboards off of them into a diving clothesline.
