Early on, the decision was made that the majority of UWE Frenzy's officiating staff would be female. However, there is a rather fundamental lack of lady referees in the industry, so a mostly male staff was hired in the interim, with one notable exception. That exception came from a legacy and didn't even know it.
Tammy Young was one of the 30 or so hopefuls training at the UWE Madhouse, hoping for a shot at being on the UWE's starting roster. She showed great potential early on, however, she suffered a hamstring pull that put her out of training for several weeks. In the hospital, she was approached by UWE Havoc's Senior Referee Dale Robinson, who told her of her legendary lineage. He offered to train her as a referee so that she could follow in the family footsteps. She quickly agreed.
She learned fast and, in no time at all, she became UWE Frenzy's Senior Referee. But, like the man that trained her, Tammy Jones takes no trash and is more than willing to take matters into her own hands when she or her staff get pushed around. After training and selection at the Madhouse was complete, Tammy went back and completed her training, just in case she had to show that her refs wouldn't be pushed around.
