Heading into: |

Horrible launch on first road north of town, however, it is the first manageable section of the river. Easy pickup at Waldo public launch. Few turns, decent speed until millpond. Usual slow open water on millpond. Probably accessible all summer. Quite likely buggy. |

Very challenging run, with many obstacles. that is not to say that it can't be done. Buggy. Probably not accessible in summer. Easy brisgeside launch and pickup, unless continuing to Hingham. Many tricky turns, shallows, and rocks. Probably best aproached with no more than two canoes. |

(Starting at closest crossroad upstream from Hingham) Trip is quite maneuverable. Some exiting and challenging corners with decent speed. Wide pools on several corners. Very few major obstacles. Easy bridgeside launch. Easy pickup at Hingham launch. Slow open millpond water. Very buggy, probably manageable in summer. |
