Risketball Rules
In no particular order.
1.  Each player with a court always guards his or her own hoop

2.  If a defender is beaten, his or her home court belongs to the victor, though they continue to defend it as if it were their own.

3.  Locations without players are divided at the beginning and are defended by their recipient.  Some players may not receive an extra court.  The extra court ownership is decided by a "shoot for teams" kind of method.

4.If a court owner does not wish to attempt conquest, they may either play as a defender only, or their court may be counted with the open courts at the beginning.

5.  Courts are shown to be claimed by a shown flag.

6.  No court may be advanced upon withing fewer than two attempts by the same individual.

7.  Courts are grouped into larger regions.  If a region is conquered, the conquerer earns 1 spotted point for each of his or her new advances.

8.  The game may be played in one day, using Internet and cell phones for updates, or may be played over many days more slowly.

9.  Courts may be "attacked" only if they are closely bordered, or if it has been so stated by the map.

10.  Games are played as one on one, conquestor vs. defender.

11. If during play, within held courts, a leading conqueror wishes to move some of his defeated players around to other locations, they may do so.  However, all held courts must be defended at all times.

12.  Spotted points may  be designated to specific unchanging locations at the discretion of the victor for each win.  These points however, may not be stockpiles, or moved.
