| This is a Perkins family photo. I have no idea when it was taken; an educated guess would be around 1900. The only person I can positively identify in this photo is my great-great-great grandmother, Sophronia (Shands) Perkins, in the center of the bottom row. The man to her right appears to be my great-great grandfather, William Nathan Perkins, but I cannot be sure. I first thought the man to her left was her husband and my great-great-great grandfather, Jesse Mercer Perkins, but he was probably deceased by the time this photo was taken. All of the folks around her are most likely her children. If anyone has any idea who the other people in this photo are, please email me. |
