Kepler Track - March 2004

So, my best friend from college, Erica, was visiting New Zealand with her friend Meghan and they visited me in March 2004.  We decided to hike the Kepler Track, a 67km loop track outside of Te Anau, inside the Fiordland National Park.  So here are some photos.  The hike was tough, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat, the scenery and veiws and plants were so spectacular.

Mountains and women and mountains some more.  The track climbs up Mt Luxmore, which is 1472m above sea level, and then drops back down to about 150m above sea level.  We got great alpine views and wonderful scenes of rivers and lakes, including both Lake Te Anau and Lake Manapouri.  Ah, to live in New Zealand : )
