Volunteer Opportunities
Here you will be able to find information about volunteering your time to help those in need in the Racine/Kenosha area.  We will also be posting our planned group volunteer activities for the year so check back for updates and get involved by helping your community!!!

Monday's thru Thursday's beginning September 18th, 2006 - 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Racine Family Literacy Program - Volunteers are needed to help prepare and serve simple heat up snacks at Emmaus Lutheran Church.  You do not need to sign up for all of the days.

Anyday, 11:00 AM - Noon
Meals on Wheels - The Kenosha Area Family and Aging Services, INC. needs help every weekday to deliver meals to about 10 homebound citizens and disabled persons.  Volunteers are asked to deliver 1 day per week, in neighborhoods close to their home, school, or office.

Every Friday, 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
Bingo - Lincoln Lutheran of Racine hosts a bingo event every Friday afternoon with its residents.  Volunteers are needed to assist with set up, transporting residents, leading the game, and clean up.

Pick A Day - Breakfast: 6:30 AM - 8:30 AM, Lunch: Noon, Dinner: 5:00 PM
Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization (HALO) - HALO needs volunteers to prepare meals in a homeless shelter.  One can bring in food, prepare/cook and serve, or you can bring in already prepared food and serve.  Sign up today.
