THE LOVELESS
The Loveless is UXB drummer Mick Turner's latest band, featuring Paul Brindley on guitar and vocals and Mark Kendrick on bass and vocals. Incidentally both Paul and Mick were in Fire In Cairo with UXB bassist Col in the mid-80s.

This present line-up has been together for two years, in which time they have toured the UK extensively to enthusiastic reviews and have released the very Jam-esque "
Hey Theresa"/"Subterranean girl" which has since sold out its original thousand copies and has become much sought after. The limited edition 12-inch version includes an extra track "Don't understand the world". A few copies are still available.

Their new CD single "Trash culture", which has been described as The Clash meets Led Zeppelin, c/w the manic "Attitude problem" and a favourite from their live set, a stormin' version of John Denver's "Jetplane", will be followed by a new album soon.
