This site has been created so that
individuals interested in the paranormal can find the show times of
documentaries, television shows, and movies that deal with the paranormal.
Television
series
“Unsolved Mysteries” is a television show that routinely has
episodes based on the paranormal. Clicking the “Unsolved Mysteries” logo
will take you its homepage that tells of show times and channels that currently
broadcast it.
“In Search Of…” is a show
that was in production during the late 70’s.
It dealt with the paranormal is ½ hour-long documentaries that were
narrated by Leonard Nimoy. Clicking
the “In Search Of…” graphic to the left will send you to “The
History Channel” site which lists all of the show times and descriptions of the
shows for the next month. Clicking here will send you to
section at the bottom of this page which lists ALL of the episodes of “In
Search of…” with accompanying links that will take you to detailed
descriptions, courtesy of the “All-Movie Guide.”
“Sightings” is a television
show that specializes in the paranormal.
Each episode has a magazine format containing many stories involving
UFOs, Bigfoot, ghosts, hauntings, and anything else paranormal. By
clicking the “Sightings” graphic you will be shown a listing of all
the episodes to be shown this month. Clicking here will send you
to the “Sightings” homepage.
Network
listings
The Discovery Channel has an
outstanding collection of documentaries about the paranormal. Clicking the
Discovery channel logo takes you to a page that lists all of the
show times of documentaries that fall into a genre called “Science
Mysteries.” Examples of shows that fall
into this genre are ‘Atlantis Found?’
‘Bermuda Triangle’, ‘Tasmanian Tiger & Big Cat’, ‘The Dead Sea
Scrolls: Unraveling the Mystery’ and
‘Extra-Sensory Perception.’
Unfortunately “The Learning
Channel” does not have their shows on the paranormal grouped in an organized
fashion like the “Discovery Channel.”
Below are links to various shows that are about the paranormal. Click
here and you will be taken you to a listing of programs that are
shown that deal with the paranormal. Clicking the large “TLC” graphic to the left
will send you to “The Learning Channel” homepage.
Again, the “History Channel”
does not support searching by subject so individual programs must be searched
individually. Clicking the “History
Channel” graphic to the left will send you to the search program on
their homepage. As a matter of
clarification, the search engine has the words, “Search For A Program,” over
it. I recommend doing searches for UFO,
Bigfoot, Ghosts, Bermuda Triangle, etc.
There are a number of programs that you would not expect. For example, there is an episode of “The 20th
Century with Dan Rather” which is named “Are We Alone?” which goes into detail
about UFOs.
A&E has produced an outstanding series on the paranormal over
the years that go by the name “Ancient Mysteries.” I have been looking for a way to find their show times, but to no
avail. By clicking the “A&E” graphic you
will be taken to their homepage. By clicking here you will be taken
to a listing at the bottom of this page that lists all of the programs in the
“Ancient Mysteries” series. If anybody
finds a way to bring up the series’ show times I would really appreciate an
e-mail at Uziel25P@aol.com.
Atlantis
- The Lost Continent - Explore the myth, history and science fiction surrounding the legend of
Atlantis using computer graphics and state-of-the-art digital video. Sophisticated imagery depicts the
environment on the lost continent and dramatizes life, as it may have existed.
Forgotten
Secrets - Ancient
civilizations appear to be linked by astonishing similarities in their
understanding of the heavens. Evidence points beyond coincidence to the
existence of an earlier civilization that spread their knowledge world-wide.
Egypt’s
Lost City - Tell
El'Amarna, surrounded by tombs cut into high cliffs, was home to worshippers of
the sun and ruled by a little-known king and queen. Researchers seek the
connection between these rulers and the most famous pharaoh of all,
Tutankhamen.
