| I just picked this car up about 2 weeks ago. Ive been looking to get rid of my dodge, since there is no parts interchangability between it and my thunderbird, and figured, Id love to have a Turbo Coupe. After discussing this with my friend, he reminded me about this car here. It was for sale a while back, and he was going to buy it, but didnt have the money at the time. So he helped me contact the owner and whatnot and I bought the car. Here is the run down: -1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe -5-speed -Red Leather Interior -All options other than ATC, Keyless entry, and Power Moonroof -108K Miles -It is on engine #3 -8.8 rear with 3.55s -Very little rust Things it needs as of now: -Tires -Heater Core -Power Steering pump and lines -Exhaust The power steering probably isnt going to get fixed seeing as I like how the steering is without it, and the exhaust wont get fixed untill im able to afford what I really want, rather than settling for some stock crap exhaust. Plans for the car: -3" exhaust that splits to dual 2.5", and something similar to ultraflow mufflers -Boost controller set to 18psi -A/F and Boost gauges -An in-nose mounted K&N cone filter -Possibly a FMIC -Paint Oh, and I bought the car for 500 bucks, and drove it home. |
