Dog Shelter This is the place where dogs that are abandoned or found by the shelter go. We give a week for an owner to claim them and then we keep them for a month and if not adopted they are put to sleep. To adopt, fill out the form at the bottom. FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!!! So whoever fills the form first gets it.

a 5 year old male black lab was abandoned this evening. He is very friendly but needs to be neutered. His owner never claimed him so he's back up to adopt!! July 9 - August 9

Dachshund, female, not spayed This dog has back problems and her owner didn't want to deal with them. She is a sweet 2 year old and desperately needs a home. Give her the love she deserves! July 9 - August 9

Manchester Terrier, male, neutered This dog attaches himself to his family immediatly. He is good with gentle children but is nervous around boisterous ones. He's a picture of elegance! July 9 - August 9

Staffordshire Bull Terrier, female, sprayed This 5 year old dog was not trained properly as a puppy and her owners abandened her to the streets because she was too wild. She needs training and a nice loving owner. July 13 - August 13

Saint Bernard, male, not neutered This 1/2 year old pup was found on the street with its mother and siblings. It is the only dog not yet taken and is looking for a wonderful family who will give it tender loving care. He loves to play but is very aggresive toward other male dogs. July 13 - August 13

Dalmation, male, neutered This dalmation once belonged to a wonderful family, but unfortunatly the owner died last year of cancer and her dog is looking for another nice home. He is very obedient and playful and he loves children. He is almost 5 years old. July 13 - August 13

Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen, female, not spayed This dog was grew up in the city with other city dogs. She has never been into training and is almost 2 years old. She barks often to scare away people she doesn't know but never growls or jumps on people. July 13 - August 13

Poodle, female, not spayed This beautiful 4 year old dog was brought to the shelter because her owner died of old age. She gets along well with older people but may be snappy with younger children.  Watch out, shes yappy! August 5 - September 5

Norfolk Terrier, female, spayed This 5 year old girl loves children! She loves to be in the spotlight, and know exactly what is going on. She is very curious. We found her as a stray this morning. She will make a loyal, affectionate companion. August 5 - September 5

Papillon, male, not neutered Don't tell this 2 year old dog he's small! He has a great attitude! He will quickly become attached to you but is still mourning the loss of his old owner. He is great for city or country life! August 5 - September 5

Chow Chow, male, not neutered This 1 year old boy was rescued from a house that abused him. He is very proud, serious, and dignified, and therefore will do well in a house where he will be top dog. August 5 - September 5

Pembroke Welsh Corgi, male, neutered This 3 year old dogs old owner discovered he had back problems so he was dumped on the side of a road. He is very kindly and gentle and would never hurt a fly. He will be a great companion dog. August 5 - September 5
