Pralisca lies in a quite bay just 1km away from the fishing village Marina. It is small Dalmatian village with the attractive beach. Pralisca is situated in an area with a distinctive Mediterranean climate. Average temperature during summer is 26°C and the temperature of the sea surface varies from 23°C to 26°C.The temperature in January lies between 5°C and 8°C. Therefore, winters are mild and moist and snow is a phenomenon.Prališca has average of 7,4 of sunny hours per day or in the year 2700 sunny hours. In summer 11,4, in spring 7,4, in autumn 6,3 and in winter 4,2 sunny hours per day. The "Maestral" (sea wind) and "Burin" (night breeze) winds are known favorably for bringing coolness and coolness in the summer evenings.

By car one can reach Pralisca by Coastal Road from Western route or from Italy by taking one of the ferries which connect Split with Venice, Ancona and Pescaro. Ferry port is situated in the very center of Split, near Diocletian's Palace. It has advantage of being in the immediate vicinity of the bus terminal, railway station and the air terminal. Ferry lines are connected with Italy and daily local ferry lines connect Split with Islands. The Splits airport is only 18 km away from the Pralisca. Besides regular and charter flights Splits airport is also connected with the airports of a large number of European countries and a rest of the world.

Mostly vineyards, wild olive, fig and pine trees surround Pralisca Bay. Historical geological movements influenced shape of the branched Dalmatian coast when waves had hollowed out softer earth layers into bays and coves. The area is known for quality wines and Dalmatian food specialties. Beside numerous ancient monuments in Dalmatian cultural and nightlife in summer starts with Split Summer Festival 14 July till 14 August. This is a festival with operas, dramas, ballets and concerts. Organized in Splits historical landmarks such as Peristyle. Fishing nights consist of small events on squares and streets in the historic centers of Dalmatian towns. Entertainment includes "Dalmatian Klapas" male singing groups, traditional concerts combined with entertainment and catering. Dalmatians are well known for their active lifestyle and friendly character. Visitors exploring the Dalmatian nightlife are certain to find out about southern hospitality and why historical landmarks make Dalmatian so exciting and romantic. Trogirs historical center is home of fish restaurants and cafes. Fans of live music will love terraces with live bands performing into night. If sing along and dance music make you want to get up and dance check out the nightclubs.

If an intimate jazz with a romantic atmosphere sounds tempting check out cafes in bays. If you want to spend your time in the party atmosphere, there are many open-air house parties, concerts, and terraces with traditional Dalmatian music. There is also a casino near by.
