OWNER REFERRAL PROMOS |
Most of us have gone on at least one of those 90-minute presentations to see a timeshare resort. The incentive is a free or inexpensive gift of some sort; it could be tickets, money, or accomodations. You find a booth where they offer the promo if you pay $20 or so and you are guaranteed that you will get the money returned after the presentation along with whatever incentive offer that's promised. That's how it works when you're on vacation and see a booth, usually offering tickets to a dinner show. An owner referral promo is a promotion offered to guests who attend a presentation but must be referred by someone who already owns at the resort. Not all resorts have this benefit, not even most. The promos offer you free or very inexpensive accomodations, sometimes at the resort, sometimes at a hotel. We own at a number of resorts but I can offer you three owner referrals. ---If you wish to go to Wisconsin Dells, WI, I can send you to Christmas Mountain, a Bluegreen resort or Peppertree which is now managed by Fairfield. We own at both resorts. ---If you wish to go to Las Vegas, NV, I can send you to Royal Vacation Suites, a Resort Magic resort. The requirements: 1. You must have an annual income of at least $40,000 US. 2. Employed full time or retired. 3. Must attend the 90-minute sales presentation. 4. If married, husband and wife must attend the presentation together. 5. Must be US citizens. 6. Must have a major credit card. (They will want to see your name and expiration date at the desk for ID purposes, but you can cover your number. They just want to see that you do have a credit card.) How this works: You contact me, the owner, at joyinwolves@yahoo.com with your name, address, and phone number. Be sure to tell me which resort or place you want to visit. I will call the resort and turn in your info, and my name as the owner. (That's all you need to tell me but often people will tell me the month or general time.) The resort will call you and set up the date of tour. You will be talking to them directly for dates to tour. That's it. The resort will tell you everything you need to know and you can decide if you want to do it. They will most likely take a payment (like the $50 as above) just to guarantee that you show up. This is given back when you attend. You get accommodations and I will get points for the referral that can add up towards paying my maintenance. (2006-sometimes they have the promo for a low cost and you will get accommodations, meals and possibly tickets to attractions. Promotions vary at different times; it may be free or at a low cost.) If you have questions, just email me. If you'd like to go to the Dells or Vegas, email me with your info. It really helps with your traveling expenses but it does take a little of your vacation time. It's up to you. Thanks, Joyce New note (1/24/04): Now many people are on the "Do not call list". Christmas Mountain checks the list thoroughly and, if you are on the nation's list, they cannot call you but will respond to me to let me know. Then, I can give you their number and you can make your reservation by you initiating the call. |
