THE WAR IN AFGHANISTAN
"FACTS"
I will add on to this as I find more facts.  Updated stuff will be in BOLD text.
FICTION MEETS REALITY
Crap that can’t possibly happen is what made even “The Three Stooges” popular and funny.  I mean, they would never miss when they throw a pie.  This cartoon contains a couple of things that just can’t possibly really happen.  Some of these are “by design” and meant to give a special characteristic to the cartoon.  This cartoon also contains some things that really exist.  Here are some interesting facts about the cartoon.

Cartoon was drawn mostly in my Spring semester of 2002 Drafting class.

Idea to open up with Larry King came to mind as I started drawing the cartoon at my house.  It just so happen that the Larry King show was on at the time.  Most of my ideas come to mind as I draw them.  The idea of having a lightning bolt almost hit Scott Hall on the island came to mind because as I was drawing it, there was pouring down rain and some bad lightning outside.

Pages 16A and 16B were added in December of 2003, mainly to show more of Austin in the Stealth and to show where the lost nWo ended up.  Also added, was a pyramid in the background of one of the scenes when the nWo is firing at that rock.  The pyramid was added as a "hint" to the fact that the nWo was really flying over Egypt as revealed later on in the cartoon on page 16B.

In the cartoon, Austin kills Omar by forcing 33 bottles of Crown Royal down his throat.  Austin is shown walking into the restaurant in the little town of terrorist empty handed.  I highly doubt that a restaurant in a town of terrorist would have 33 bottles of Crown Royal laying around.  I also doubt a human being can possibly drink that much that fast, even if it was just water.  Nevertheless, it made for a very unique and unorthodox way of killing a bad guy in a movie.  Killing a terrorist by alcohol poisoning?  Has that ever been done before in the movies?  It also made the story work in that Austin got Omar intoxicated enough to give away Osama and the Taliban’s secret hideout.

Kane kicks a hijacking terrorist through the hatch of a jet airliner in flight, thus penetrating the airframe.  In the cartoon, the jet airliner begins to go down when the airframe was penetrated.  In reality,  the plane really wouldn't of went out of control, but instead, everyone on board would have probably passed out due to a loss of cabin air pressure.  Of course, with the pilot passing out, then the plane would of gone out of control.  If this occurred at an airliner's normal cruising altitude, the chances of survival would have been very slim.  The whole idea behind using the aircraft going down was so that Kane can use his supernatural powers to bring it back up.

The B-2 Stealth bomber’s cockpit is really only big enough to hold a few people.  There is no way an actual fight like in the cartoon could have took place on board.  Also, there is no way that two people (Bin Ladin and Talah) could be hiding on board without being seen.

In the cartoon, Austin uses 29 Daisy Cutters on board his B-2.  The bomb weight capacity on the B-2 is 50,000 lbs.  One single Daisy Cutter weights 14,991 lbs.  Therefore, if Austin used only Daisy Cutters, he would of only been able to carry 3 whole Daisy Cutters  The total cost of 29 Daisy Cutters would be around $792,222. Throw in the price of the Stealth and it would cost over $2.1 billion dollars to do what Austin did to that mountain.  Would 29 Daisy Cutters have blown up a mountain?  Depends on how big, but if blown underground, it could have taken out a radius of almost 2 miles.
