A swap is a small token that is exchanged between two (or more) Girl Scouts at some type of  gathering.  SWAPS are normally handmade and can be related to event at which the girls are at.

SWAPS should include an address (or e-mail) so the girls can write back and fourth and get to know each other better.  SWAPPING is a way to make friends in Girl Scouting.

The size of a SWAP should be small (1"-2") and most have a pinned back.  A SWAP should not be expensive, in fact the cheaper the better (even using recycled items).  A collection of SWAPPED items can be displayed on a hat, canvas bag, jacket, or bookbag.
