In this tutorial you will learn how to change the textures of : 1.Armors (bodies) 2.Faces 3.Skins 4.Monsters It's on of the basic tutorials on Gothic3 Modding, I have been asked and that's why i updated this tutorial and add some screenshots - it was a bit complicated before. The screenshots are form greek windows but you'll, at least, understand what we are doing.(i have translated one-two important things) There are two pages (because of the big pictures), relax and enjoy! |

Step 1 : Download G3Pak and XIMG Converter Step 2 : Run the G3Pak program go "file>open-GothicIII>Data>_compiledImage.pak" Step 3 : Press "extract dir" |

Step 4 : A new folder "compiledImage" will be created in game's data directory Step 5 : Create a new folder in the animation folder called "Ximg Converter" and paste the two files of the Ximg converter program in there. |

Step 6 : In this tutorial we will change the armor of a paladin so go to animation and find the ximg file called "G3_Human_Paladin_Body_Diffuse_S1.ximg. Step 7 : Copy it and paste it in the Ximg Converter folder. Then run the ximg converter Step 8 : Your ximg file has been converted to a tga now! Step 9 : Go to drink some water the difficult part is over |
