Our recent nominations for committee saw Bob Krog was elected unoposed to to the position of VAHA President, congratulations Bob. Unfortunatly, we did not receive any other nominations for the 5 remaining vacant committee positions. So now it is over to you all, to come to the AGM to be held on September 13th at Akoonah Park Berwick and nominate yourself for a position. If the vacancies are not filled at the AGM, the Victorian Arabian Horse Associaiton will have no other option than, to go into a recess. There are still 6 dedicated Arabian owners and breeders on the committee, President Bob Krog, Vice president Terry Casey, Secretary Sheree Tayler, Jodee Webb, Clint Bilson, Sheila Jones. The future of the breed in Victoria is in your hands.

We encourage you to nominate someone or be nominated to take the Victorian Arabian Horse Association forward, this is an opportunity for you to be involved in the future of your industry and to extend your passion for the Arabian Horse.
VAHAinc is currently in a very healthy financial position & run the Arabian Classic ( the next Classic will be the 39th so exciting times are ahead for the Classic as it approaches its 40th Anniversary), the PETstock Foal show, keep an informative web site for all things Arabian in Victoria, hold social events and produce promotional material such as calendars and stud directory’s, if you would like to be involved in the running of these events and things, or have other ideas that you would like to bring to fruition, please nominate for a position.
