Ford Motor Company (Automatic Transmission Ops)
Engineering Intern (Summer 1998): Designed SDRC IDEAS models of torque converters then created drafting details of these components. The models were created in a manner to facilitate finite element analysis performed in another department.
Engineering Intern (Summer 1997): Ford Motor Company (Automatic Transmission Ops). Work planning and communication coordination for Automatic Transmission Engineering Management. This supported the C3P/ Ford 2000 implementation for ATEO. Specific tasks included speaking with managers and supervisors of departments and addressing program manager concerns with program timing.
Whirlpool Technology
Engineering Intern (Summer 1996): Whirlpool Technology Designed and performed a laboratory approval program on the Easy Clean 100 Dryer, including the supervision of 2 technicians.
Engineering Technician (Full Time): Whirlpool Technology Center 2/94 to 10/95. Core team member of the Lint Storage Dryer design/implementation team. Executed laboratory and field/life test programs and originated many design improvements. Details of this system follow:

Computer Technician (Full Time): Whirlpool Art Department 3/91 to 2/94. Designed and coded elaborate job-tracking/billing software for the department. Also did much computerized graphic design: slide shows, logos, converting, etc. Also prepared graphic arts media and maintained the departments computers and film processors.
