Lord Ganapati

Something about the image and the verse above

The image above is of Lord ganesh, who is considered to be the God of wisdom. He is also called Vignaharta, meaning one who can remove all the hurdles. Hence he is the first deity one should pray before starting any new task, according to Hindu mythology. The verse means: Oh Lord, carrying the power of million Suns, please remove all the hurdles in all the tasks that I take up.

Personally I like this particular deity of all because of his cute countenance and his intelligent personality as portrayed in the mythological stories. I am not particularily religious, I would rather call myself agnostic.
