| ![]() ~~ My sister Laura created this wonderfully light cake. ~~
1 can (16 oz.)pear halves in light syrup
1 package orange cake mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 egg whites
3. In a large bowl, combine cake mix, pureed pears, reserved pear liquid, oil, and egg whites. Mix at low speed until moistened; beat two minutes at high spped. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until tooth pick comes out clean. Cool in pan for 15 minutes; invert onto serving plate;cool completely before serving.
