2 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons salad oil
1 cup skim milk
Stir flour, baking powder and salt together. Work in shortening with tips of fingers or with pastry blender.
Add milk gradually and mix with fork to a soft dough. Drop mixture in spoonfuls onto hot stew, allowing space
for dumplings to rise. Boil hard for 12 to 14 minutes. DO NOT LIFT COVER DURING COOKING.
