   1 1/3  cups          all-purpose flour
     2/3  cup           whole wheat flour
   1      teaspoon      baking powder
   2      teaspoons     cinnamon
   3                    eggs
   2      cups          sugar
     1/2  cup           vegetable oil
     1/2  teaspoon      vanilla extract
   5      cups          apples -- thinly sliced

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Sift flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon into a large bowl; set aside.

Combine eggs, sugar, applesauce and vanilla into a large mixer bowl.  Beat
on low speed until well blended. Add dry ingredients, mixing until well
blended. Fold in apples. Spoon into a well greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2" baking pan. Bake for 1
