Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1 pound extra lean ground beef
   1 cup corn flakes cereal
   6 tablespoons skim milk
1/4 cup celery -- finely chopped
   2 tablespoons minced onion
   1 pinch salt
     1/8 teaspoon pepper
   1 dash Worcestershire sauce
  30 ounces tomato sauce
4 tablespoons brown sugar substitute -- or less
   1 piece bay leaf
                        Fettucine
                        Grated Parmesan cheese

In large bowl combine meat, cereal, milk, celery, parsley, onion, salt and
pepper (OR: In food processor with chopping blade, chop until all
ingredients until thoroughly combined). Shape into small balls, and brown
in non-stick fry pan(s) on all sides. Add tomato sauce, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and the bay leaf. Stir to mix
ingredients and to remove flavourful brown particles from the bottom of
frying pan. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat, cover and
simmer at least 1 hour so that the flavours are enhanced. Discard bay
leaf. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 1 minute. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Per serving: 259 Calories; 13g Fat (46% calories from fat); 17g Protein;
