Out of all the bladebreakers Kai has had the hardest life. Both of his parents were killed when he was young and he was sent to live with his grandfather.
He was sent to an Abbey in Russia and was trained non-stop to be the best. His grandfather wanted to use Kai to take over the word. The key to his plan, Black Dranzer.
Kai was the only one who could unlock Black Dranzers powers, so for that reason Kai was trained ruthlessly.
The plan was working untell a young Kai got a hold of Black Dranzer and destroyed half the Abbey.
Later Kai becomes the captain of the Bladebreakers. As such he is the voice of reason. Most see him as cold and heartless but deep down he does care deeply much for his team mates.
