Rei was givin his bit beast by the elder of his village.
Normally the bit beast would have only been passed down through the family's blood line which would mean that his best friend Lee would have been givin the bit beast, but the elder saw something in Rei and trusted Drigger to him. Rei then left his village to learn more about blading which left the relationship between him and his old team on bad terms.
Rei first came across as cocky but after seeing the power Tyson had he joined the team. Rei is the calm one of the group, he is not as stern as Kai but not and childish as Tyson. Being the way he is, he gets along with Kai the best.
Rei is one of the best blader around and proves he power many times.
